JFK Sterling Silver Gift Medal

Price Not Announced

Here is an extraordinarily rare and exquisite JFK presidential gift from his presidency.  It is a solid Sterling Silver Medal that bears a beautifully die struck Presidential Seal on the front. On the back is engraved JFK’s famous quote “Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Country”.  Beneath the quote is the date of JFK’s Inauguration, January 20, 1961.  Beneath the date is the engraved full signature of JFK. The Medal is approximately 3″ wide, and comes in two beautiful jewelry boxes.  Both boxes bear a gold stamped Presidential Seal.  The inner blue velvet box features a raised base that allows the Medal to be displayed in the case.  Very few of these Medals were ever made. They were special gifts to very close friends and political supporters who helped him win the presidency.  They were given as gifts at his Inauguration.  Both the Medal and the jewelry boxes are in pristine condition.  This Medal comes from the Estate of Peter Lawford, who was married to JFK’s sister Pat, and was a close personal friend and confidant of the president.
