Eisenhower’s Aircraft over the Whitehouse

Price Not Announced

Here is an exceptionally rare photograph showing President Eisenhower’s presidential aircraft being flown over the White House. This was an exceptional flight that I do not believe has ever been duplicated. The plane was the Columbine, and the pilot was Colonel William Draper, who was President Eisenhower’s pilot from 1950 through 1961. Colonel Draper has personally signed “To Bill Ewald 3rd from a friend of his Dad. William G. Draper.” The photo measures 10 & 1/2″ X 13 & 1/2″, and is matted and framed to an overall size of approximately 15 & 1/2″ X 18″. It is in excellent condition. This is an exceptionally rare item of early Air Force One history.
